ASA
A weather-stable engineering polymer built for life outdoors. It shrugs off sun, heat and knocks far better than commodity plastics — the toughest, most impact-resistant material in our lineup, and the one that stays put in the sun and rain.
The shape of the material
Five properties, each scaled to the strongest material in the lineup so the reach on every spoke reads as a share of best-in-class. ASA is filled in the accent colour; the dashed outline is ABS, a familiar commodity polymer, shown for reference only.
Lightness is density read inversely (lighter = further out); durability is notched impact strength. Each spoke is scaled to the best material for that property.

What the numbers mean for real gear
ASA is the outdoor workhorse. Its 10.3 kJ/m² notched impact is the highest of our materials — it takes knocks and drops without cracking — and 73.4 MPa flexural strength lets it bend and spring back rather than snap.
It stays dimensionally honest in sun and heat, holding shape up to a 103 °C heat-deflection point and softening only above roughly 105 °C. That mix of toughness and weather stability is why it carries the gear that lives outdoors and around water.
