Built around a small, solid block measuring 1.6 by 2.1 by 0.6 inches, the Bear Knuckle carries a textured grip and a row of ridges along its edge — the same DNA collector ridges that give you confidence in your ability to protect yourself if needed.

A slot lets it attach to a belt, pocket or bag, and it ships on a premium lanyard: 3/32 tactical paracord with a nylon strand core rated to 275-pound test, finished with a large 1.25-inch slim brass key ring, so it goes onto your keys straight out of the box.

PET-CF — carbon-fiber-reinforced PET. Every Bearly Defense item is made from the same material: polyethylene terephthalate reinforced throughout with carbon fiber. It is an ultra light weight, high-strength engineering composite, and it is 100% non-metallic — no metal core, no metal insert, no metal fastener, no metal anywhere in the part. (The items that ship on a key ring come with a metal ring and a nylon paracord lanyard; the ring is the only metal in the box, and it comes off.)
- Exceptional strength-to-weight — the stiffness the job needs at a fraction of the weight of metal, so it carries all day without you noticing it

Dull, non-cutting edges. Nothing on this item is sharpened. The material is a polymer composite, so its edges and ridges are dull and will not cut the way a knife edge cuts.
Care and limits. A polymer part is not steel: prying with it, twisting it under load, hammering on it, or dropping it onto concrete can chip or crack it. Clean with soap and water.
Quality guarantee. We guarantee our carbon fiber tools will be free of manufacturing defects that affect the function of the item, or they will be replaced free of charge — within 1 year of purchase by an authorized reseller, running from delivery to the reseller, and 90 days from the date of purchase by the final consumer, running from the retail sale. The guarantee covers original manufacturing defects only: it does not cover damage, wear and tear, normal use, or anything else affecting the item. The item must be purchased by the consumer during the reseller guarantee period, or the consumer guarantee does not apply.

Why Bear Knuckle ships the way it does.
- A solid block with one finger hole, carried on a key ring. Only one finger passes through it.
- Not a statutory weapon. It fits one finger only and carries no sharpened edge, so it does not meet the statutory definitions of metal knuckles, brass knuckles, daggers or knives. It is marketed solely as a multi-tool and personal safety accessory.
- Nothing on it is sharpened. It has no point and no cutting edge — the edges and ridges are dull polymer, and the material will not take or hold a knife edge.
- Non-metallic construction. Carbon-fiber-reinforced PET throughout: no metal core, no metal insert, no metal fastener, no metal anywhere in the part. (Items supplied on a key ring ship with a metal split ring and a nylon paracord lanyard; the ring is the only metal in the box, and it comes off.)
- Restricted-state shipping. We do not ship this item to Alaska, California, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Washington — 12 jurisdictions in total.
